Welcome to the Building Manager Resources page!

The Building Manager Resources (BMR) site was developed with building managers in mind, to help you carry out your mission on behalf of your organization. It was designed to provide you with an easily accessible, consolidated and maintainable source to access relevant and updated processes and information to effectively operate your facilities and keep occupants safe every day. The BMR is a collaboration among the units supporting facilities operations, which includes Emergency Preparedness, Facilities Services, Fire Prevention Services, Project Management & Construction Services, and the University of Texas Police Department. Building Manager Mission:

The mission of the Building Manager role is to manage, plan, and coordinate activities associated with the physical, environmental, and security conditions of each university building or facility. The Building Manager will serve as the liaison for coordination and communications to building occupants regarding hours of operation, security, emergency preparedness, maintenance, construction repairs and renovations and utility delivery (including elevators).
