Bridget Blizzard
Associate Director, Landscape & Integrated Building Services

Bridget has more than 34 years in design, construction, and facilities services experience, with 20 of those years in facilities management. In addition to her responsibilities as associate director for Landscape and Integrated Building Services, Bridget serves as the emergency operations center representative for the department. Prior to joining Facilities Services, she worked for Phillips Petroleum, Oregon Health & Science University, Matrix Architects Engineers Planners, Inc., and for the Houston Zoo as director of facilities. This combination of experience from the manual drawing board to hurricane preparation for nearly six thousand animals has developed Bridget’s passion for facilities. Bridget holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in anthropology from the University of Oregon and an associate in applied science degree in drafting and design technology from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College.

Michael Costa
Manager, Building Logistics and Keys

Michael brings 30 years of experience in the electronic access, locksmith, and security services industries. He joined UT Austin with Facilities Services in December 2016 as the technical trades supervisor for the Lock and Key Services shop. Before then, he was the lead locksmith at Texas State University for over five years. Prior to that, he was a business owner and manager for 12 years. He has earned 40 certifications for electronic access, locksmith, security services and crime prevention. Michael has completed advanced leadership training and has received awards for his performance, including the university's presidential recognition with an Outstanding Staff Award.

Jim Carse
Manager, Landscape Services

Jim has spent all of his professional career in the forestry and landscape professions, and has been with UT since 2011. He was promoted to manager of Landscape Services in 2017 after serving as assistant manager, where he oversaw the Urban Forestry team and the Tree Campus USA program as well as the landscape maintenance team at the J.J. Pickle Research Campus and West Pickle Campus. Prior to joining UT, he served as an urban forester for the Texas A&M Forest Service and as an arborist with the City of Round Rock. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in forest management from Colorado State University and is an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) certified arborist and municipal specialist. He is also a Texas Licensed Irrigator and a Licensed Pesticide Applicator. He is a past president of the ISA Texas Chapter and a member of the Professional Grounds Management Society (PGMS).

Mark Engelman
Manager, Resource Recovery

Mark has over 25 years of experience in business management and sales. Prior to moving to Texas from his home town in Michigan in 2007, he worked in sales, training, purchasing, and management for a leading supplier of janitorial supplies and equipment. Upon moving to Texas, he held the position of vice president of product sales and development for a national barbershop franchise. In October 2010 Mark began his career with Facilities Services as a crew leader in Custodial Services. He became the supervisor of Surplus Property in 2016, and then was later promoted to the assistant manager. Mark attended Ferris State University.

Mike Klemmer
Assistant Manager, Landscape Maintenance

Mike Klemmer has over 24 years of experience in landscape management. Prior to joining the university, he worked at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte as a grounds supervisor II for nearly eight years. Prior to that, he worked at Texas A&M University as a landscape maintenance section leader, and at other institutions as landscape superintendent, manager of community & landscape maintenance, and site superintendent at the Massachusetts Horticultural Society. He is a member of the Professional Grounds Management Society and the Texas Nursery & Landscape Association. He is currently working on gaining his Texas Department of Agriculture Pesticide Applicator's license. He earned a bachelor's degree in sociology from Texas Lutheran University and took graduate-level classes in landscape design at Radcliffe College in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Lisa Lennon, ASLA, PLA
Landscape Architect, Operations

Lisa has over 20 years of combined experience in horticulture and landscape architecture. She is a licensed Professional Landscape Architect and member of the American Society of Landscape Architects. She holds a B.S. degree from The University of Texas at Austin, an M.S. degree in horticulture from Tarleton State University, and a master’s degree in landscape architecture from the University of Arizona. Prior to the joining Facilities Services at the University of Texas, Lisa worked at Ten Eyck Landscape Architects and for the consulting firm, Bury (now Stantec) as a landscape designer, where she developed her proficiency in sustainable and maintainable designs. Her skills include landscape construction/administration and maintenance, commercial and residential landscape design, and urban entomology.

Lindsey Hutchison
Zero Waste Sr. Program Coordinator

Lindsey joined UT as the assistant sustainability coordinator in University Housing and Dining in 2015. She moved to Facilities Services as the zero waste coordinator in 2016, and then was promoted to senior zero waste coordinator in 2019. She holds a Bachelor of Science in architectural studies from UT Austin and earned her master’s degree in landscape architecture from the University of Georgia. Lindsey has worked in many aspects of sustainability from horticulture, farm management, historic preservation, community forestry, and refugee support. Lindsey maintained LEED Green Associate credentials from 2010-14, in 2016 she received both Grow Green Landscape Professional and City of Austin Zero Waste Professional certification, and in 2021 was TRUE Advisor certified. She is also a Board Member of the Zero Waste Campus Council, a technical council of the California Resource Recovery Association.

Allison Williams
Senior Administrative Associate, Landscape and Integrated Building Services

Allison has 15 years of administrative experience at UT. She began her career as a billing specialist for University Health Services (UHS). In 2013, she became an administrative assistant for Business and Financial Services (BFS) and was later promoted to training services coordinator, serving BFS, Facilities Services (FS) and Project Management and Construction Services (PMCS). In 2015, she joined Landscape and Integrated Building Services (LIBS) as the administrative associate for Landscape Services. Allison earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from St. Edward’s University.
