Welcome to the Facilities Service Center

The Facilities Service Center (FSC) is the service connection point for all facilities-related requests and inquiries. FSC handles all requests and inquiries for facility-related emergencies, maintenance work, repairs, custodial, landscaping, pest control, temperature issues, and events and moving.

It is our pledge to always do our best for our valued clients as well as our front-line service employees.

Facility-related Emergencies:

All facility related emergencies should be reported to the Facilities Service Center at 512-471-2020.

Maintenance Requests

All non-emergency maintenance requests can be submitted electronically at any time through WORQS (UT EID Required) or reported to the Facilities Service Center at 512-471-2020.

  • Floor
  • Room
  • Details (Please give us as much detail as possible so we can alert our front-line technicians appropriately.)

Staci Pope

Staci has over 24 years of customer service experience. She joined the Facilities Service Center (FSC), just prior to its launch and contributed to the center’s evolution from the ground up. Beyond Facilities Services, her relevant management experience began over 30 years ago in the banking industry and continued on as she held positions in the mortgage and property management industries and with The University of Texas at Austin’s law school. As project manager with Premier Wall and Windows, Inc., she managed 8-10 direct reports on any given project, while working collaboratively with other project managers, architects and designers. She also attended Texas Tech University.

Olien "Bubba" Stuessy

Prior to his promotion to Work Control Coordinator, Bubba was a work control specialist with the Facilities Service Center (FSC) for three years. Before joining the FSC in 2016 as a work control specialist, Bubba was the administrative assistant in the Zone 1 Maintenance Operations shop. Bubba has thirteen years' experience as a permit officer with Motor Care Express Services and Texas Department of Transportation, and he received an associate's degree in agricultural finance from Blinn College in Bryan, Texas. Bubba completed the Planning, Energy and Facilities / Business & Financial Services Leader Development program in 2017 and has received numerous internal awards and accolades. As a member of the Facilities Services Employee Engagement Council, Bubba focuses on ideas that will benefit the divisions and help break down communication barriers between front-line technicians and upper management. He is a strong advocate for clients, both internal and external.

Christopher is a UT graduate and served his country while in the Navy. Although born in Cherrypoint, NC, he has lived in the Austin area for over 40 years. He started his career with UT in 2007, working with Campus Construction and Custodial Services before joining the Facilities Service Center. Christopher is extremely knowledgeable about the UT community and utilizes his network of resources to assist clients all day, every day.

Jasmine is bringing her background in higher education within Texas and Georgia school systems to the Facilities Services Center. She has also worked in various diverse customer service environments for the State of Texas, ranging from the Office of the Attorney General – Crime Victims Division and The Texas Board of Law Examiners. Her experience in these roles has equipped her to compassionately assist clients in a way that goes beyond minimal duties. Jasmine is extremely enthusiastic about joining UT and growing into such a supportive role.

Mark joins Facilities Services with 35 years of customer service experience. His professional background includes working in the retail industry, where he gained invaluable customer service experience, and serving his community as a firefighter with the El Paso Fire Department. Upon moving to Austin, Mark brought his strong dedication to serving others by taking a position with the Housing Authority of the City of Austin. He furthered this dedication by joining the University of Texas community in 2002. While with the university, he has worked as a fleet specialist with University Fleet Operations and as the senior program specialist with the Office of Emergency Preparedness. Mark is excited to bring his service-oriented enthusiasm to the Facilities Service Center as a work control specialist.

Fab has taken on various customer service roles, ranging from Spanish and English teaching, event coordination and staffing, civil engineering management, and child development. She now joins the Facilities Service Center with experience in her back pocket, enabling her to better serve the UT community. She strives to make customers’ experience a highly positive and collaborative one. She graduated from American University in Washington, D.C. with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Performance. Fab is excited to form part of the lifelong Longhorn team.

Irene joined the Facilities Service Center (FSC) with 30-plus years of customer service experience. She has held positions in the airline industry and higher education. Prior to moving to Texas and joining the FSC, Irene worked as a facilities representative lab coordinator at Pennsylvania State University. Irene has a Bachelor of Science degree from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. She is driven by motivation, and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to work hard and excel. Irene is excited to be a part of the UT community and support the mission of the university and Facilities Services.

Casey joins the Facilities Service Center with 15 years of customer service experience. He began his career at The University of Texas at Austin with Landscape Services as their greenhouse specialist in 2016. Casey holds an Associate of Applied Science degree from Texas State Technical College in the automotive field, as well as several professional and state certifications pertaining to the horticulture industry. His background working across several industries provides him unique experiences to draw from in processing the varied issues that arise within the university’s facilities. Casey has lived in Austin since 2006 and is a proud member of the UT staff. He looks forward to continuing to serve his community and helping it thrive to its full potential.

Glenn joined the Facilities Service Center team in 2023. He is a seasoned support professional with over 15 years of customer service and technical support experience for diverse industry employers. He has been successful in the past with solving an assortment of service issues due to his extensive experience and background. He is familiar with meeting high expectations regarding quality of service and professionalism while demonstrating an ability to problem solve, prioritize, and multi-task efficiently. Glenn is excited about the opportunity to utilize his unique skill set to support the team and tackle the role of Work Control Specialist at The University of Texas at Austin.

Work Control Specialist 

April joined the Facilities Service Center team as a student associate in 2021. Upon graduating from the University of Texas with a B.A. in Kinesiology and Health Science in 2023, she became a part-time associate with the FSC. April also supports Facilities Services’ Strategic Program Support team by creating content for the FS intranet (FIRST) and updating the FS website.

Student Associate

Tray joined the Facilities Service Center team as a student associate in 2022 as a freshman at The University of Texas at Austin with an Associate of Science degree from the Paris Junior College (Paris, TX). As an actively engaged student, Tray seamlessly applied the communication skills he honed during his prior role as a board member in an early college high school program to his position with the FSC. His motivation to excel and support the FSC stems from his desire to continuously learn and build on his communication skills to meet the needs of our clients.

Student Associate

Brooke joined the Facilities Service Center team as a student associate in 2023. She is currently a junior at The University of Texas at Austin and is a journalism major and website Director for the University Fashion Group. She is also very involved in the philanthropy associated with her sorority and values helping others. As a member of the FSC team, she’s able to enhance her communication skills in a professional setting.
